The LEAD Symposium is Vaels International School's student-led research and discovery programme. Standing for Learn, Experiment, Augment, and Discover, LEAD gives High School students a formal platform to conduct independent research and present their findings to peers, faculty, and invited guests.
What LEAD Involves
- Students identify a topic of inquiry and design their own research approach
- Experiments, surveys, and secondary research form the evidence base
- Findings are presented at the annual symposium in a structured format
- Faculty mentors provide guidance throughout the process
The LEAD programme reflects the school's commitment to developing students who are not passive consumers of knowledge but active contributors to it — a skill set that serves them well in university and professional life.
Note: Programme details and participant information are pending confirmation from the school.
