Every year, the Nursery and Kindergarten students embark on a day trip, while the first graders participate in an overnight camp at school. Students from Grade 2 onwards attend outstation adventure camps with their peers and teachers. Beyond academic learning, these experiences help students develop essential life skills, curiosity, resilience, teamwork, and adaptability to thrive in new environments. Through engaging outdoor challenges, they build confidence, leadership, social responsibility, and the ability to work towards shared goals. These enriching experiences nurture independent, compassionate, and globally minded learners who are prepared to look beyond horizons.

Field trips are thoughtfully organized by subject teachers to enrich classroom learning across various disciplines. Becoming a member of the Student Council offers students a meaningful opportunity to grow as confident, responsible, and compassionate leaders. The Student Council provides a dynamic platform where students meet regularly to plan and lead meaningful initiatives that enrich school life. By working with peers from diverse backgrounds and perspectives, they cultivate teamwork, empathy, critical thinking, and respect for others while developing the confidence to make informed and ethical decisions.

At the secondary level, the Student Council election process includes the announcement of eligibility criteria, submission of nominations, candidate presentations, campaigning, speeches, the democratic voting process, and the oath-taking ceremony. This structured process nurtures responsible leadership, integrity, and active citizenship, empowering students to become global high-flyers and lifelong learners.

Model United Nations (MUN) is a simulation of the United Nations where students role-play as delegates to debate, negotiate, and address pressing global issues.

To nurture students' passion for public speaking and strengthen their leadership, negotiation, diplomacy, and critical thinking skills, the school established the MUN Club. Through engaging simulations and meaningful discussions, students analyse complex global challenges, collaborate to propose innovative solutions, and make informed decisions. These experiences foster curiosity, communication, empathy, and global awareness, preparing them to become lifelong learners and responsible global citizens.

Service as Action is an integral part of the Vales International School experience, inspiring students to become compassionate, responsible, and globally minded citizens.
